Hi, I'm Jenn.

An active mom of two and former corporate accountant turned personal trainer dedicated to helping you move well through improving your mobility, balance, posture, flexibility, endurance, and last but not least – strength.

​

I started my gym to help clients of all ages and abilities reach and maintain a healthy lifestyle. I'll help you achieve your fitness goals through exercise, nutrition and behavioral change and be there to celebrate your success! My training starts with the basics of functional movement. You'll see your capacity to do daily activities- whether it is getting out of pain, increased flexibility, ability to squat and reach or injury prevention- improve as you train.

CONSULTATION

I will discover everything about you, from your medical history to your fitness level and fitness goals.  We can also find out that if we are a good fit for each other to ensure success.

design

I will design an individualized training program based on what I learned about you, your movement score and your fitness goals. Each exercise in your program is designed just for you with simple but effective training methods to help you get lasting results safely.

Assessment

Using the Functional Movement Screening method (FMS), you will perform a combination of dynamic movement patterns so I can evaluate your movement quality, identify muscular deficits and postural imbalances.

training

We will start training and I will show you how to perform the exercises correctly and safely.  I will keep you accountable and support you in physiological needs including nutrition, sleep and stress to help you see results. We will meet and reassess every 6 weeks to discuss new goals and actions steps.

I met Jenn when I decided to start prioritizing my health and strength in my early 40s. As someone who has never considered herself an athlete nor been a fan of working out, I was apprehensive. But I also had goals of things I wanted to be doing and that required me to have better overall health. Jennie worked with me on those general functional goals as well as on my specific goal to backpack and climb Yosemite’s Half Dome. She was patient and supportive while also providing lots of ideas for correction and modification. Most importantly, she encouraged me to try increasingly difficult things and helped turn a lifelong negative mindset about exercise into a much more positive approach. (Not that it’s ever easy!)
